Animal portraits and animal paintings – my passion<\/span>

\nMy name is Katja Sauer.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>I live in the beautiful Black Forest and I am a freelance artist with a focus on drawings of animal paintings and animal portraits. These occur mainly after a photo submission and to the corresponding animal faithfully reproduce with all its characteristics.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnimals have always played an important role in my life and to draw them gives me great pleasure since my childhood. Early on I was allowed to draw different animals from friends and acquaintances, drawings of dogs over cats portraits to pictures of horses.
\nFrequently my animal drawings were ordered as birthday gifts.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even in school, I often do not let me keep from drawing – to the chagrin of some teachers! ;-)
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>I’m a self-taught artist and I have acquired the various\u00a0<\/span>painting techniques<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in the course of time. I always learn something new with great enthusiasm. Each painting is a new and exciting challenge, as well as every animal has a unique character. I try to reproduce this in my drawings. The first pictures were taken in charcoal and pencil, after many years I began to draw with soft pastels. Further drawing techniques will follow..<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
